Our company also believes in giving back to the community that provides our very existence. Colonial Roofing has continued to support local organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club, local Boy and Girl Scout troops, Mental Health, SPCA, Hurley Recreation, local high school sports teams, and the American Cancer Society, just to name a few.

HISTORY

Donald Oakley, Sr., established Colonial Roofing and Siding Corporation, Inc., in 1953. The initial owner of the business, Donald Oakley, Sr., still maintains day-to-day activities at Colonial Roofing and Siding at 86 years old.

Over the years as the company has grown, and so has the Oakley family. Colonial Roofing and Siding currently employs three generations of the Oakley family and still continues to expand.

For over 50 years, Colonial Roofing and Siding has committed itself to provide its customers with quality service and satisfaction. In 2003, the Daily Freeman and the Taconic Press recognized Colonial Roofing and Siding as the best roofing company in the Hudson Valley, giving Colonial the MHV Choice Award. Colonial Roofing and Siding has also been recognized as a preferred contractor by Owens Corning.

Colonial Roofing and Siding offers a wide variety of services to its customers. We strive for complete satisfaction on all phases of the roofing and siding process, as well as the installation of windows, doors, fascia, soffit, gutters, and leaders.

All of our roofing foremen are highly skilled to ensure satisfaction on each and every job. Colonial Roofing does not subcontract or hire piece workers for any of our work. Every job is done by Colonial Roofing's employees.

Each job is led by a highly qualified foreman who is in charge of completing the task at hand. On the average, Colonial Roofing's foremen have been employed with our company for 15 years or more.

In addition to our longevity, Colonial is one of the only roofing companies left that does not use pressurized nail guns.
